Lviv Sport Awards 2025: An event uniting those who move the city

A landmark event for the city's sporting and social community took place in Lviv — the Lviv Sport Awards 2025. This year, the Sports Office of the Lviv City Council gathered over 100 nominees — people who work every day for the development of sports, communities, and human strength in Lviv.

Among the guests and nominees were athletes and coaches, veterans, partners, media, volunteers, and the organizing team. All those who do more than just train or compete—they create an environment of support, recovery, and inspiration.

This event was particularly special for our team: we received an award in the "Social Initiative of the Year" category. This year, there were several winners in this category, highlighting the scale of the work currently being done in the city.

This award is about recognizing systematic, often invisible work with people, for people, and together with people. It is about daily presence, support, and the belief that sports can be a tool for the recovery, integration, and habilitation of veterans.

A separate and very precious recognition was the victory of Tania, who works with residents in archery, in the "Those Who Inspire" category.

The organization of Lviv Sport Awards 2025 was made possible thanks to the joint efforts of teams that systematically develop sports in the city and support veteran and social initiatives.
