Sound Box — a barrier-free musical space at the Lviv Habilitation Center

At the Lviv Habilitation Center, we believe that sound can heal, inspire, and open new possibilities. That is why we created Sound Box — Ukraine’s first barrier-free musical space for veterans, their families, and everyone in need of support through creativity.

Sound Box is a place where everyone can find their voice and a way to express themselves.

Here you can:

• Learn to play instruments or practice vocals

• Create your own podcasts or music tracks

• Try your hand at being a DJ

• Immerse yourself in lectures and themed meetings

• Undergo recovery through sound and rhythm

Music is both an art and a habilitation tool that helps reduce anxiety, restore concentration, process emotions, and find new meaning after the hardships endured by our defenders.

Sound Box is equipped to be comfortable and barrier-free for everyone.

The space is always home to veterans who are happy to offer support and teach new notes or instrumental skills. We also regularly host creative collaborations, charity mini-concerts, meetings with artists, and events that bring the community together.
