The force that moves forward: Mentor Hab, an inclusive sports space, opened in Lviv
Strength is not about limits. It is about adapting to life. On November 1, in Lviv, at 86B Stryyska Street, the Mentor Hab inclusive sports space opened, a place where the body, mind and community learn to move together.

On the opening day, there were many people here - veterans, people with disabilities, coaches, volunteers, city residents. Not an official event, but a meeting of those who believe that movement and support can change lives.

The space team conducted a practical training, showing how adaptive sports work - when exercises are adapted to the person, and not the other way around.
The guests saw how even the simplest movement can restore a sense of control, strength and joy from their own body. And most importantly, we demonstrated that it really works and the veterans are satisfied!

“We wanted not only to create a gym, but to give veterans a taste of life,” says Anna Horku, project manager. “So that everyone can see: adaptive sports are not about limitations, but about the opportunity to do what they like.”
As part of the opening, a lecture “Stigmatization of People with Disabilities in Ukraine” was also held by Volodymyr Moisei and Volodymyr Boykovets - adaptive athletes, Guinness and world record holders, founders of the Strong Side Sports Association. They spoke about acceptance, respect and the power of a community that does not give up.

Mentor Hab was created as a space without barriers, both physical and psychological. Here you can train, receive support, undergo adaptation programs, communicate with.

Mentor Hab is a space where movement brings life back.
